This website has no forms and no user accounts. If you write to us on WhatsApp or by email, we use your name, your contact details and what you tell us only to reply and to organise your stay. We never sell or share your data, and we keep it only as long as the stay and our legal obligations require.
Bookings are completed on HotelRunner, our booking system, which handles booking and payment data under its own privacy policy.
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data by writing to chaltenoffthegrid@gmail.com.
Under Argentine Law 25,326 you may access your personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, as the supervisory authority, handles complaints about breaches of data protection rules.
Cancellations
For bookings made directly with us:
Up to 30 days before arrival, cancellation is free and you get a full refund.
Between 30 and 7 days before arrival, we refund 50%.
Less than 7 days before, or in case of no-show, there is no refund.
The conditions shown when you confirm on HotelRunner are the ones that apply to that booking. Bookings made on Booking or Airbnb follow each platform’s terms.
Right of withdrawal
If you booked remotely, you may withdraw within 10 calendar days of booking, free of charge and without giving a reason (Argentine Law 24,240, art. 34, and Resolution 424/2020). Write to chaltenoffthegrid@gmail.com with the subject “Withdrawal” and the name on the booking. We confirm receipt within 24 hours.
